IMPORTANT INFO GOING INTO MASS!

Please note that ALL CIRCUSES AND CARNIVALS who house workers in trailers

must now get a permit in MASS. Trailer units must have exits on both sides

of trailer for each bunk house, have a small fire extinguisher in each unit

and hand rails on the steps to each unit.

MY PERSONEL COMMENT:

Earlier this year, after seeing the new PETA video I have to express my feelings.

First of all I am not an animal rights activce as I beleive animals should

be in the entertainment business. But what I saw and I know, this is not an

old video clip as one of the handlers has been with Ringling since 2008 which

makes it and updated video. As a CFA member who has fought to keep

elephants from being banned, the time has come for the

Ringling Orginzation to do the right thing.

First: anyone involved on the tape should be

(like Donald Thrump said on his TV program: "YOUR'RE FIRED")

fired with no exceptions. This does not need to happen for any reason.

Second: Ringling should bring up charges against all the ones that was beating on

the elephants and the judge should throw the book at them. PERIOD. For

the ones that saw what happened and didn't say anything should at

least be repremanded.

In 2007, I wrote up about one of the handlers in this video that he was using the

ankus to much on elephant rides at Wilmington, Mass Shrine Circus. He didn't like

what I said but now he can't allibi this video. I'm sorry to say he is from the family

of elephant trainers who has this reputation of treating elephants like this.

Also PETA who made the video should also be held responsible as they should have

come out when the beatings happened not months later like they did.

If they were really interested in the welfare of the animals they would have shown it to

the Ringling Org when it happened not month later just for publicity for their agenda.
