 A line up of Ringling Wagons parked along the driveway. Picture of the elepant play pen that is set up at most summer locations of the "Greatest Show On Earth" This proofs that Ringling does not keep there herd chained all day long like some owners still do.

The new Purple Tent that Dick Garden just bought. This was one of the first times that he had set this tent up. A couple of spots later it stayed on the trucks as he was playing indoor dates. Instead of parking the trucks that hauled the tent Dick kept all the trucks together for the entirer route even if they did not need this equipment.

At least twice dailey the train crew of Circus World Museum load and unload the flat cars of the circus train. This is done the way it was done in the early days of the traveling circus.

The front door of midwest biggest name mud show Culpepper -MerryweatherCircus. I saw this show in Wisconsin about an hours drive from Baraboo  after attending the morning performance at CWM. There was many of the local CFA members on the lot including Mary Jane Foote. This was my first time ever to see this circus.

I was going to stop in to the National CFA Convention in Springfield Mass for only 1 day but ended up at the convention for 3 days. Pictured here is CFA members of Maine Tent #30 Karen Whitmore, Priscilla Fecteau, Ernie Tarbox, Amos Bealieau and wife Mary. (At the time Amos was CFA's District #1 Director.

 

 

 

 

 

RINGLING BROTHERS
Fleet Center Boston, MA

 Members of CFA's Tent #30 went on a Sunday train ride of 2 hour to take in the Ringling Brothers, Barnum and Bailey Circus in Boston at the Fleet Center. The security fround apon people taking pictures of the compound outside of the building even if you were on the street. So I got a few good shots from the Elevated subway line that stops by the Fleet Center. A few of the members had their picture taken with one of the Shows Clowns. Members were Sanford Ingram, Ernie tTarbox and Harry Gordon.
