CRASH MOREAU'S CIRCUS VISITS

May all your days be circus days!

CIRCUS RELATED ACTS

BILL  & CINDY MORRIS  "ELEPHANT ENCOUNTER"

Bill Morris is seen to the left with one of his elephants Cora during their stay at the Stark County Fair in Canton, Ohio. Bill has two elephants on the road with him. They have one of the best informational show on the road today about elephants. Bill's two elephants are one African (Shannon) and one Asian (Cora). His road show at fairs is called Elephant Encounter and to me  the best visual appearing shows on any fairgrounds today, lined with Palm Trees and flowers. For more on Bill's elephants check out his website at WWW.ELEPHANTENCOUNTER.com

Pictured here is Cora in Prospect, PA at the Big Butler Fair. Bottom is the set up at Canton, Ohio both photos taken in 2006.

VINCENT & POM POM VAN DUKE'S CAT ENCOUNTER

Picture is CFA member and top circus photographer from New Jersey Paul Gutheil talking with Vincent at The New Jersey State Fair at the Meadowlands. The bottom picture is Vincent in the cage working the cat act. As Pom Pom says the cats are their family as they are with them 24/7.

WARD HALL'S  WORLD OF WONDERS

Ward Hall is probally the Greatest Showmen of the past 50 or more years. Ward is know by everone in the outdoor amusement business from Carnivals to Circuses. A few years ago he retired but in 2005 after building this sideshow for someone. The person decided after a few weeks on the road this was not the business to be in . Ward and partner Chris Christ once again inherited a sideshow. These are pictures from the 2006 New Jersey State Fair at the Meadowlands on the Amusement of America's lot. Top photos is Ward selling tickets, balling on the front stage. Bottom photos is long time sideshow performer who has done it all from fire minnipulation to the act of prestadigatation. His name I hop to spell it right Poobar (Little Pete). On the right bottom is Wards partner Chris Christ one of the front talkers for the show.

BOB COMMERFORD CIRCUS WAGONS

& PETTING ZOOS

Where ever their is a big  east coast fair you most likely will see Bob Commerford and one of his 2 Petting Zoo's set up. At any of the fairs that he is at and they have a parade you may see one of Bob's Circus Wagons. In the above picture is Bob's Caliope Wagon pulled by a pony hitch which has been in the Big-E's daily parade for many years. Bob is standing in the back of the driver. Sitting along side of the driver is Circus model builder anf former carnival owner Brook Evans. If you attend the Big-E you will find Brook's model circus set up in the Circus Museum building.

One of Bob's Asian Elephants is getting ready for a round of Elephant Rides.

KAY ROSAIRE'S CAT HABITATE

This set up was at the Manchester Fair in Manchester, Iowa.

BURPEE & RECORDS PETTING ZOO

These photos is the Burpee and records set up at the great Deerfield Fair in Deerfield, New Hampshire A small to medium sized petting zoo in their red and yellow tents which stands out on a fairs lot. Here the show is giving Camel Rides.

RANDALL'S HIGH DIVING PIGS

WHEN PIGS CAN FLY!! is the old saying. Well in this day and age I will have to say along with 100's of others, Pigs did fly at the great Altamont, New York Fair in 2006. Randall's Pig Performance has to be one of the best in the country as most only have pig racing.

JOESPH MARCAN'S TIGERS

One of the best Tiger Acts that I have seen at any fair in the US. These tigers are loose all day to go back and force from the Steel Arena to their individual cages. They only perform 2 to 3 times aday for the crowds that come to see their shows.  In the heat of the summer they even put out big tubs of water so the cats can cool off, as most tigers love water. These pictures were captured at the Delaware State Fair. A few years later we have newer pictures under 2004 Tour, with different care takers (presenters).
